      The Lincoln Area Archives Museum is housed in the old City Hall on Beermann Plaza in the center of historic downtown Lincoln.<\/h4>\n

      The archives began in 1993 by area historians Jerry Logan, Wes Freeman, and Don Logan to preserve Lincoln area's rich history.<\/h4>\n

      In 2010 the Museum was founded as part of the Archives and is growing due to the outstanding support it is receiving from the local community. Various collections have been donated by local Lincolnites.<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

      Permanent Museum exhibits depict the early Lincoln area including native Nisenan and Maidu Indians artifacts, early settlers beginning with Theodore Sicard; agricultural, mining, ranching, manufacturing, transportation, and military history.\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

      Among the archives are photographs of the life style of the early settlers, genealogies, early maps, and city records. Browse through our selection of books on local and California history including selections by local historian, Jerry Logan.<\/span><\/h4>\n

      Come and check out the unique calendars, post cards, and other gift items featured at the museum gift shop.<\/span><\/h4>\n
